Dragonslaying 101
Everyone knows that the best part of EQ is slaying big scary dragons. For the last 5 weeks <Realm of Insanity> has been hard at work farming Meldrath so that they could experience some of the dragon killing fun in Crystallos. This week we decided we were sick of waiting around to join in on the fun and went into The Lair of the Awakened with only 30 people flagged. We were expecting to go in there and get our ass kicked, but it turned out we couldn’t have been more wrong. In just two days RoI managed to defeat all of the mini events free loot events and even slay our first dragon. Our good friend Tjudawos was sleeping with the fishes by the end of Thursday night. On our way there I managed to get what is quite possibly the coolest looking screenshot in Everquest history.
After staring in awe at the awesomeness that was the fire dragon Tjudawos, we remembered that the reason we were there was to slay dragons. A few attempts later, the dragon was no more and we celebrated. Here is a pic of the victorious RoI team and some of the loots we acquired on our first trip into Crystallos.

Short Work of a Short Week
With the best holiday of the year coming up on Thursday <Realm of Insanity> was forced to a short week of raiding, but this did not stop us from kicking ass and taking names. Since our latest update, we have successfully slain Queen Malarian (not to be confused with our beloved monk app) as well as made major progress on the Bloody Kithicor raid and the Kaesora Council. Don’t be surprised if you see both of those events defeated in the near future. Here is a pic of RoI in action, as well as some quotes, and even a link to a video of us dominating MMM.

Recruitment Information:
RoI is currently looking to fill a few gaps in its raiding roster as it makes a push into Crystallos and Tier 1-2 SoD. We are currently pulling in about pulling about 45 pieces of loot per week just in farm zones, so now is a great time to come on over if you are thinking about applying. If you are interesting in applying, please get in touch with Gindainy, Swag, or Shennron as soon as possible. Now that server transfers are (finally) open to The Combine server we are also accepting apps from other servers. If your class is currently closed but consider yourself an exceptional applicant then feel free to ask an officer. Exceptions can be made. Steamslayers say what?
So, there is this zone in the Secrets of Faydwer called Meldrath’s Majestic Mansion. It has some big scary robot looking things, some minotuars, some gnomes, and all sorts of other fun things to cuddle with. But here at <Realm of Insanity> we are against cuddling. We’d rather go straight to the fun part in the pants, and that’s exactly what we did to Meldrath the Malignant. Rather than screwing around with his foreplay and mind games we decided that we would go directly to the part where we de-pants him and have our way with him on only our 2nd night attempting him (you try getting in someone’s pants on the second night, it’s rough). After we were done having fun, we looted ourselves some new gear and a few Crystallos flags. Of course, talk doesn’t mean shit without pics to back it up so…
