It’s been a fairly long time since I last updated this thing and I’m sure all of you at home have been dying to know what <Realm of Insanity> has been up to since then. To be honest, not much has happened. We’ve just been farming Tower and Hard Mode and preparing ourselves for the utter destruction we are going to lay down on Underfoot coming up in December. One day I did get bored and I decided I would go slay the root of all evil. So, I headed over to Shar Vahl and this was the scene a few minutes later.
Unfortunately, there were too many of them for me to kill them all before they ran away. Here is one that got away, if you see it anywhere in Norrath please contact me so that I can find it and exterminate it.
So anyway, on to the important part. RoI still has a select few roster spots available in our raid roster for highly skilled raiders with high raid attendance. If you want to be the best, you need to raid with the best, and if you want to do that then you need to send a tell to Qulas, Gindainy, or Swag as soon as possible to make sure we have room for you. We currently have openings for the following classes, but that is subject to change so if you are interested don’t hesitate to ask us even if you class is not listed here.
Berserker – High Need
Rogue – High Need
Shaman – High Need
Wizard – Medium Need
Cleric – Medium Need
Druid – Medium Need
Enchanter – Medium Need

The Final Stretch
So summer is winding down and <Realm of Insanity> is gearing up to make their final push before Underfoot Beta begins. Right now our roster is healthier than its been in well over a year, but there are still a few small holes we’d like to fill before we rape face in Underfoot. Right now RoI is looking for 1-2 of each of the following classes: bard, warrior, and berserker. If you are interested you should get in contact with Qulas, Swag, or Gindainy as fast as humanly possible.
Hard Mode? More Like Nostalgia Mode
Hard Mode. What did it teach us? Well, for one it taught us what happens when 100 teenage girls on their period post on the internet all day. See this thread for more info on that. It also taught us one thing that we already knew, that SoD is no match for 36 RoI members. Some people might remember that one time that <Realm of Insanity> defeated all of SoD, the first time, with 36ish people. If you remember that, then it probably won’t come as much of a surprise to hear that we did the same thing again, only this time we got (arguably) better loot for it.
For what it’s worth, hard mode was even more of a joke than original SoD was. The events fell just as easily as they did in normal mode. Our hard mode Zek Brothers kill was our most flawless to date. Not even one person died in the whole event (unless you count Quirky as a person, which we don’t). All in all, hard raids were interesting. They weren’t the apocalyptic end to EQ that some people predicted and they weren’t the end of 54 man raiding. They will keep us semi-entertained for the next few months while we finish up farming and prepare ourselves for Underfoot.
Which brings me to my next point. If you want to be a part of the guild that is going to smash the shit out of Underfoot when it opens, then you best be getting in touch with Qulas sometime in the very near future. We still have openings for clerics, berserkers, shamans, and wizards, but exceptions can always be made for exceptional players so don’t be afraid to chat with Qulas if your class isn’t listed there. If you are the kind of person who wants to be the best and wants to be with other people who are the best then RoI is the right place for you. If you are considering joining then the best thing you can do is get your ass off the fence and make a decision one way or the other, the longer you wait the less likely it is that we have space for you when you finally decide you want to join.

A Legacy of Domination
Here at <Realm of Insanity> we have a long standing tradition of raping face. For the past 3 years we have trashed everything that has stood in our way and this year’s Living Legacy events were no different. It shouldn’t be a surprise to anyone that RoI easily destroyed the rest of the Druzzil Ro server in all 5 Living Legacy Events, earning ourselves the augs we got screwed out of last year. In addition, we also put up some pretty legit serverwide scores, finishing 10th in Battle Prowess and Marathon, 5th in Sprint, and 13th in Dragons (fuck trying hard on endurance when we easily beat the rest of our server). Not bad considering we had 6-12 bots in all of our raids.
Which brings me to my next point, empty raid spots are lame. Right now we still have an average of about 9 empty raid slots per night. If you would like to help rectify this then please check out our recruitment section on the forums and talk to Swag or Gindainy in game as soon as possible.
